LIVING IN FILM
Owner, Bill Baker, comes with a vast array of knowledge in the motion picture industry having a family that has been immersed in the field. It all started with Ed Baker, (Cameraman, Sound Technician with 50 years of experience in the industry). Bill along with his brothers Tom, Bob, John, Joe, Jim and his nephew Damien Baker, carry on the Baker legacy in Motion pictures. The family has covered Transportation Department, Film, Shows, Commercials, Lighting, Electrical, Picture Cars, SAG, Mechanic, and Welding/Fabrications.

BILL'S BIO


Bill Baker started his film career and training with his father Ed at 14. Working on news stories and filming stringer film for the TV networks ABC, CBS and NBC. 
He was a mechanic at Beverly Hill’s Porsche-Audi and worked on cars for stars like
Flip Wilson to David Jansen. 
He worked for ASCO Products the original Shelby Supplier and his boss was Tom McIntyre the Cobra racer and car collector. Bill has also had the honor of meeting many times Carroll Shelby in his line of work and was a friend of Ken Behring businessman and car collector. Bill has also met actor James Garner racer and car enthusiast a time or two. 
Bill is also an accomplished Moto Cross Racer and has raced with the likes of Hurricane Hannah and many at Indian Dunes. 
He worked for General Motors testing brake systems on cars.
He has managed and designed a Mechanic Department for GES Exposition Services in San Francisco. Bill doing most of the maintenance himself on the fleet of trucks and heavy duty equipment. He also kept service records on all vehicles and did DOT inspections and met with California Highway Patrol. Bill also attended safety seminars with California highway Patrol and The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. He is knowledgeable in every aspect of Transportation and DMV. He can drive the equipment, fix the equipment and inspect the equipment. 
Bill is a Teamster and is a driver for the Motion Picture Industry and Trade Show Industry. Bill is a Picture Car Coordinator and on location Mechanic as well for the Motion Picture Industry. 
Bill has recently embarked on the sales, custom modification and transportation of shipping/storage containers starting his new Company All Rigs Services LLC.

His expertise ranges from being a mechanic on Medium / Heavy Duty Trucks, Materials Handling Equipment. Safety & Maintenance, DOT Inspections. Vehicle Registration & Documentation, Parts & Supplies Inventory, Hazmat, Welding and Fabrication, Tow Truck Driver, CPR Certified, Trailer and Container hauler, Forklift driver, Big Rig Driver and driver of 7 million dollar broadcast units. Camera Truck Driver, Water Truck Driver, Cast and Crew Driver. Rigging Driver, Electrical Equipment Driver. Picture Car Coordinator.
